Musa Tukur Yakasai is a professor of Agricultural Economics with over twenty years experience in Teaching , Research and Agribusiness Development. He has played key administrative roles in various organisations and at various strata, as well as rendered invaluable professional consultancy services to governmental and International Development organisations. Yakasai was a onetime Provost of prestigious Audu Bako College of Agriculture, Dambatta and a Deputy Vice Chancellor of Kano University of Science and Technology Wudil, Kano State, Nigeria. He was a National Agricultural Expert, Less Burnt UNDP Project as well as Regional Manager, North (BPO) USAID (MARKETS) Project. He also served as Programme Counterpart Officer for UNDP UIS development for Kano State as well as project consultant for IFAD Value Chain Development and NEWMAP (a World Bank Supported Project). He was a Team leader for the development of the just concluded SAPZ project anchored by the African Development Bank AFDB in addition to his active participation in several Community based organisations CBO’s.
